Markle Fisheries is 25 miles East of Edinburgh, adjacent to the historic town of East Linton.

If travelling from the North follow the A1 (south) down to Haddington and come off at the Abbotsview Junction. Our Brown Road Tourist Signs will warn of your approach to this junction. (Do not miss it as you will have a 5 mile journey along the expressway which you cannot get off!) After taking this route you will come to small round-a-bout, take the A199 East Linton road and follow this for approximately 3.5 miles. Again Brown Road Tourist signs will guide you off at the junction at Beanston. After taking this left hand junction follow signs for Markle for further 2 miles and you will come to our gate. If travelling from the South follow A1(north) to just past Dunbar, Thistly Cross round-a-bout, and take road marked A199 East Linton and follow to East Linton. Take right hand turn into East Linton, go over bridge and take right hand turn between Bridgend Hotel and Drovers Inn. Go up through the village, out past the fire station and up the hill. At the top take left hand junction and down to Markle, go over level crossing and our gate is first opening on left.
